The 2027 Biannual Conference in Aix-en-Provence will bring together researchers, technologists, editors, and entrepreneurs exploring the changing landscape of academic publishing. The event invites reflections and experiments around open review models, AI-assisted editorial processes, participatory evaluation, and alternative economies of knowledge circulation.

We welcome contributions from any field that engages critically or practically with the transformation of scholarly communication — from digital humanities to information science, from philosophy of science to machine learning, from sociology of knowledge to publishing design.

Accepted contributions will be published in Open Review Conference Proceedings on the Future Science platform (with DOI and open commentary).
